Ingredients

Ingredients for turkey meatballs

2 garlic cloves
2 chilli, without seed (optional)
1 brown onion
8 button mushrooms
2 eggs
1000 g turkey mince
Few sprigs rosemary leaves
Few sprigs of thyme
Spinach leaves, fresh, handful or two
Salt

Ingredients for turkey meatballs

2 garlic cloves
1 onion
8 tomatoes, cut into quarters
2 tablespoon stock concentrate
60 g olive oil
400 g water

Preparation

For turkey meatballs

  1. Add garlic, chilli, rosemary, thyme and onion to the bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7.
  2. Scrape down sides with the spatula. Add mushrooms and spinach and chop 7 seconds on speed 5.
  3. Add Turkey mince, salt and eggs and mix 13 seconds on speed 5 or until combined.
  4. Spray the steamer and the steamer tray with olive oil to make cleaning easier. Using a dessert spoon, take spoonful of mixture and roll into balls and place in the steamer and the steamer tray. Set aside whilst making the sauce.
  5. Wash and dry the bowl.

For tomato sauce

  1. Add the garlic and onion into the bowl and chop, 6 seconds on speed 6. Scrape down sides with the spatula.
  2. Add olive oil and program 7 minutes, at 120ºC on speed 1.
  3. Add tomatoes and chop 13 seconds on speed 5.
  4. Add stock and water. Combine 5 seconds on speed 5.
  5. Place the steamer on the lid and cook for 38 minutes, at 120ºC on speed 2.
